New Order will play Southside-Festival Sunday 24.6.2012 0.30 am and finish the Hurricane-Festival 10 pm on the same day.

So that footage is from Brixton. I remember Bernard saying at the gig (thurs 3 May) "There's a box of chocolates on the side", but I thought it was a euphamism for the off-stage technology. But no, he meant a box of Cadbury's Roses. Didn't share 'em with the moshpit though...

Looks like Thieves and Transmission got axed from the Hurricane festival ... according to setlist.fm

Though, in fairness they do have the odd inaccuracy there (Krafty still missing from Forbidden Fruit setlist, for example, Krafty and Round & Round in wrong order at Birmingham gig ... but then I'm quite anal about these sorta things).

Soutside Setlist = Berlin Setlist minus Transmission
Hurricane Setlist = Southside Setlist minus Thieves like us

I think, Hurricane Setlist was shorter than the Southside because of the weather. I am glad the Hurricane gig wasn't cancelled. It rained heavily before and during the set onto the keyboards.

Big Clive and Me did finally 3104 km in my car from Wednesday until today. There is a good chance to get a speed camera photo of us. Wink

Konzertkritik: New Order triumphierten im Tempodrom

Berlin – Zum ersten Mal seit mehr als zehn Jahren war die Band aus Manchester New Order wieder in Berlin zu erleben. Neue Lieder gab es nicht zu hören, und doch hatte man in keinem Moment das Gefühl, einem Oldie-Abend, einem Museumskonzert beizuwohnen. Ein grandioses Konzert!

Noch bis 4. Juli: New Order stellen sich aus

Cover von New Order und Bilder aus mehr als 30 Jahren Bandgeschichte: Als das gibt es noch bis 4. Juli im .HBC zu sehen. Zur Ausstellungseröffnung kam die Band sogar selbst vorbei.

Sie waren die Kings of Cool, die Könige der 80er Jahre - die Bands «Joy Division» und später «New Order» setzten popkulturelle Massstäbe: musikalisch und grafisch. Nach einer langen Pause sind New Order nun wieder auf Tournee.

Am Wochenende spielten sie in Berlin. Zum Comeback auf der Konzertbühne eine Betrachtung des Phänomens «New Order».
