I can't see this mentioned anywhere else on the forum. Nice overall look. I guess it's been set up to promote the reissues.

That's quite a nice looking site actually.Though utterly pointless other than to try and flog the reissues. Quite hard to navigate but lots of lovely pictures of trees related to the art work for Atmosphere sleeve.

Sorry to repeat myself but these reissues win the award for Most Pointless Rerelease ever. There were the fairly pointless '94 mixes, the mind-numbingly pointless International and the tantalisingly-almost-but-not-quite-totally-and-utterly-pointless Best Of Joy Division, but they've finally managed it: complete pointlessness. Remaster ancient vinyl for CD and then put it back on vinyl that no one can play any more, with 'bonus' material you can hear for free on Youtube anyway. I take my hat off to you, Rhino.

Actually that's not true.

This site is the first actual official JD site, the project for which was driven by band management with the input and support of its members and other contributors (myself included for the discography*).

The design is different, and rather beautiful - using the seasonal metaphor.

* The site's discog is not intended to be completist with all variants detailed (for which known information was provided), but rather to provide a clear and succinct distinction of what is considered to be the core/canon UK releases, with important appendices.

Hope that helps
Dennis
