Michael Monkhouse wrote:Hurt (Mel C). You're obsessed. It's a bit "1997", but my comment on the Spice Girls is that Mel B, Geri and Emma had better curves and Victoria had better cheek bones. I guess this means Hook's gonna have another go at playing melodica. Isn't Hooky the man who said in a recent-ish interview that he doesn't like keyboards or synths or something like that? I guess it's another way of repackaging a live gig...

I'd take his comments with a pinch of proverbial salt, he says a lot and it's often vague and oftener downright contradictory.

I'm vaguely curious. According to See Tickets, there is an early show at 7.30pm and a late show at 10.30: here. According to the Coronet's website it runs from 8 til 4 with DJs following the live music. So are 808 State and The Light playing live at both 7.30 and at 10.30, or is the later slot just for the DJ sesh? *edit* ok I've looked at Hooky's website and the Ticketweb site too. As I now understand it, the Live performance is on at 7.30, and you can stay for the dj sets afterwards. But if you don't go to the live bit, you can turn up at 10.30 for the dj sets and pay (slightly less) just for that part of the evening. I think See Tickets haven't made it too clear on their website though. Someone might want to have a word with them on that... Edited by user 09 June 2013 02:42:56(UTC)

The night runs from 8pm - 4am. The first act will be on stage at 9pm. 'Electronic set' means we're only playing the dancier tracks including 3 we haven't played before while the drums will be totally electronic & the set will be completely sequenced together so that the music never stops throughout the set.
