Well, after the unique, amazing experience of Jodrell Bank - where I mentioned to anyone who was listening that I was getting bored with the same-old same-old 02/Apollo venues of this world - how about a few suggestions for possible venues for Nu Ordah to grace around the UK - or further afield - next time out? You never know.... someone, somewhere, with a bit of influence, might even read this site... ;o) Anyway, I'll get the ball rolling: The Spa, Bridlington.Pros:Great sound. Recent renovation. Good mid-capacity. Decent bar. A new venue for New Order. Ten miles up the road from where I live. (And preferably pick a Bank Holiday weekend slot so we can all have a beer on The Beach). Cons:It's in Bridlington. Any more for any more?

They should do a magical mystery bus gig. Like that one in 1981 that got cancelled because of the weather . Except don't let it be cancelled , obviously.

Fair point though I do remember Desmond Dekker playing my Uni Bar in Dublin in the 90's. He was 50-ish then. I suspect the real answer is that anyone who has ever had more than a couple of 'hits' can play larger venues than Uni's now. The less people spend on recorded music, the more they seem to spend on live music. I can just imagine the griping on this board if a bunch of students got first dibs on NO tickets and NOOLERS couldn't get a look in. It would be, "Why are they playing such a small venue? The ebay prices are rediculous" etc.
