UK iTunes
1.Restless 2.Plastic 3.Superheated 4.Tutti Frutti 5.Singularity 6.People On The High Line 7.Stray Dog 8.Academic 9.Nothing But A Fool 10.Unlearn This Hatred 11.The Game
* Restless and Plastic are neck and neck really.I'm going on the popularity bars for each song and they're the same.Is there another more accurate way of seeing which is more popular?
Same goes for Stray Dog and Academic. And same again for Nothing But A Fool and Unlearn This Hatred.
The Game is well behind at the bottom in the popularity bars.Disappointed a little to see Nothing But A Fool struggling in the relegation zone , but the season has a long way to go, Brian.Superheated has had a good start to the season and is more than holding it's own for a Champions League place.

Nothing But A Fool seems a lot more popular with Americans than Brits... hmmm

I've been thrashing Tutti Frutti and Plastic followed closely by People on the High Line and Singularity. My ranking: 1. Tutti Frutti 2. Plastic (although it's got a more 'timeless' sound/production than TF) 3. People on the High Line 4. Singularity 5. Superheated 6. Nothing but a Fool To me Superheated has echoes of a Monaco song, which may or may not contain some irony.

I voted for Restless - it could equally well be Superheated, if the vocals were by BS, not that BF’s vocals aren’t fabulous, and there was a separate option for Superheated. Maybe a live version would have BS vocals? And I love it as a whole - somehow or other it reminds me of the Technique era.

Strange that Restless, the most NO sounding track on the lp IMHO is rated so low in this poll.

I thought the iTunes popularity bar was based on sales. But the almost linear tail-off on the UK chart makes me wonder if it has listening data in there too (I'd expect a linear tail-off as people start an album but don't finish it for a lot of listening sessions). That gets over-emphasised when NO stick their singles at the front of the album, though!

Academic and Nothing But a Fool still joint number one after hundreds of plays - nothing will dislodge those two.
Singularity, Plastic and Restless come next.
Unlearn This Hatred
The Game
The rest are just sort of there and I must be the only person who doesn't particularly like Tutti Frutti, though the recent live performance was an improvement on the studio version.
PS: I never did like Fine Time and thought it did not have a place on the superb Technique - perhaps the silly voice on Tutti Frutti is bringing back memoires.

I thought it would be interesting to check and see how last.fm had the songs ranked. This is based on play data submitted by last.fm users (AudioScrobbler). I wasn't sure how many people actually use audioscrobbler these days. Here it is http://www.last.fm/music/New+Order/Music+CompleteA huge discrepancy between Restless (8,636 plays) and the next song Singularity (27) plays with most of the rest not even registering. Only 27 plays across all audioscrobbler users for Singularity? None scrobbled for Tutti Frutti at all? And the track lengths are wrong for nearly all the songs (seems someone must have scrobbled a preview and it's latched onto 30 second durations)

Here in Sweden, where the album's been getting very good reviews but you would never know that "Restless" is a single, iTunes is showing:
Plastic Tutti Frutti Restless People on the high line Nothing but a fool Superheated Academic Singularity Stray Dog Unlearn this hatred The Game
Which is not what I would have guessed. But good to see NBAF getting some love despite its length.

It's been a couple of months since I last checked the U.S. iTunes popularity ranking: 1. Restless (still) 2. Plastic (again, no change - likely due to earlier availability of top 2) 3. Tutti Frutti 4. Singularity 5. Superheated 6. Nothing but a Fool (this and the 2 tracks above only losing ground to a resurgent Tutti Frutti) 7. Academic 8. Stray Dog 9. Unlearn this Hatred (swapped with People..) 10. People on the High Line (interesting to see this and Unlearn this Hatred losing out to the less dance oriented tracks) 11. The Game (never clambered out of the cellar. If only the far superior Extended Mix was available through this channel...)
