Not a follower of this Aussie band, but I stumbled upon a post on Reddit about their new song, Teeth. If you go to its wiki page, the song is credited to a lot of people, including Gillian Gilbert, Stephen Morris, Bernard Sumner and Peter Hook. Therefore, I believe they used a sample from a New Order song, but I can't tell what it is. Can you take a listen to the song and post your best guess? Link to video here.

I don't know that I have a better ear, but thanks. :)
The vocal melody doesn't remind me of anything. The lyrics don't seem to crib from New Order. Maybe they sampled one of the '90s remixes I can't be bothered with?

We need to reach out to one of the 4 to find out what they're getting credited for... it'd be quite funny if they confess they have no idea!

Think I got it. Shut Up And Drive. They've nicked a bit of it Listen to the video from 0.45 to 0.58. That song had NO as song writers (cos it vaguely used BM) along with Carl Sturken and Evan Rogers. Here's the wikipedia page for that one: SUADSame people credited for Teeth along with additional songwriters. Ironically there's no BM in this at all, but I guess the credits stand anyway.

Funny that they didn't use a part of the song that directly interpolates Blue Monday, but they're getting credit anyway. And PS, Teeth is a terrible song.

That is, in the words of Virgil, one fucking tenuous connection. Rihanna is shit.
