I'm set to see New Order this Sunday here in Chicago.

What's sad is that PIL is playing at House of Blues.

I was fortunate enough to be at the Sugarcubes, PIL, New Order show in 1989.

New Order is obviously sold out, I'm confident it will cut deeply into PIL ticket sales for Chicago show.

saw PiL as well as New Order at Lokeren in August.
PiL was excellent, but if I had to choose New Order would definitely win Smile

PiL are not the same band they were 23 years ago(either are NO, but oh well). i saw PiL in 2010. while it was great to see Johnny and the gang, i was a bit bored. Johnny doesn't walk around the stage anymore and pretty much stands firmly in front of his music stand displaying his own lyrics for him to read off. i'm glad Lu Edmonds is back(and Bruce Smith), but he's no McGeoch. all this makes me appreciate the fact i got to see them several times in the 80's as well as the 92 tour.
