New Order is scheduled to appear on Jimmy Kimmel Live next Tuesday, April 16th. They previously performed on this Hollywood-based show around the time of their 2005 Coachella appearance. Edited by user 11 April 2013 07:55:28(UTC)

honestly, the re-worked 5-8-6 should be a single and should get played. It shows the strengths of the original band (with Hook's songwriting) but the flourishes of the current line-up.

Most likely "I'll Stay with You", as it's from their most recent (albeit download only) U.S. release.

Everybody rush out and get their new cd "Singles" yea Jimmy was holding Singles as their new cd. They only aired BLT on tv. You have to goto jimmykimmellive.com to watch I'll stay with you. So we should get a cool audio live version of the song to rip. It was to funny to watch. The audiance was dressed like overaged 80's foke. I dont think BLT was good tv. First Steve was on keyboard with his drums in front of him. Looked odd for the average person watching the show. And Barney looked like an oldman jumping around. He needs to be holding his guitar to look cool. It sounded fantastic, I will rip it for sure. Phil's added guitar rift really sounded great.

Only BLT was aired. Bernard sang it in a very unusual timbre and like one octave lower. The performance itself was glorious. I think I saw some NOOLers in the crowd.

Good performances although I agree with some fans (on Facebook) that Bernard desperately needs to wear a guitar during BLT! The Dad dancing goes into overdrive at times "I'll Stay With You" continues to sound great, well on it's way to being a latter day classic along with the likes of Crystal, Turn etc. Looks like a certain someone watched as well " Power, Corruption & Enterprise" Edited by user 17 April 2013 05:54:42(UTC)

Also a trifle rich, given that PC&L profiteering is perhaps best levelled at the man himself, with his live download of said album performed live (by himself on vocals, and session musos) imminent. Having said that, Barney's vocal timbre is a bit odd on this, a bit "Starsailor" in some ways. Good performance in general, though. Tom does a god job to these ears.

Wow, that was really good! edit: The performance, atleast. I wasn't gonna say anything until I read this amusing Facebook comment; (from facebook) wrote:WTF was that? You guys sucked on Kimmel! Singer needs to head to the gym. What the hell was the drummer doing? Lady in the red just there to stand guard over the auto-play. WHAT A JOKE It could of been filmed better. Good if we saw Gillian's hands, what Stephen was doing, and some close shots of Tom's bass strings. It didn't bother me so much on I'll Stay With You. Oh well. Great experience, full green room treatment before hand, Tom, Steve & Bernard all came out for a chat. Tom Atencio was there, he described the Santa Barbara Bowl to me as "the quintessential Californian experience" so looking forward to that even more.
We watched the main part of the show from the Green Room and then got brought out to the stage area for New Order at the end. Never actually set eyes on Mr Kimmel! But caught the back of Mark Wahlberg before he did his interview.
Thought BLT sounded great, Phil's guitar was ace over the top & ISWY, the strongest track from the whole Sirens project for me, should be added to the set IMO.
Massive thanks to Andy Robinson for setting this up, even pulling another invite out of the bag after Leggy & me had arrived so we got Sandra in too. Biggie is back in the UK and Niel went to see the baseball.
