More importantly, was this the one where they dropped acid and went to the studio? Also, is this the earliest use of movie samples? I'm thinking it was recorded in 1982.

There was at the time a lot of debate, cannot remember exactly where I read it that the talking had being directly uplifted from the film "space oddysey", bloody old age, alzeimers and drink (no particular order), which was denied by one or all of the band in an interview. Still a great track though, so assured, Hooky & The Light will do it proud next year. Not sure how they'll handle "Lonesone Tonight" though. |
