One of the first great songs I heard was walk on the wild side,
He should have appeared at READING pop sometime in the mid 70,s couldt make it , due to er something heavy as a 17 year old in the audience i was intirgued.
years later got loads of lou albums.
saw him live at Pompey, for the Ecstacy tour.He is the Man.........just like sister ray says

Bad news. Was going to post Coney Island Baby or Caroline Says or Pale Blue Eyes or Sunday Morning or any Velvets song but didn't feel like being heavy so will go for I Love You Suzanne.Goofy throwaway song and video but still cool. This used to get played a lot in a pub here that's no longer.Summer 84, good goofy times.RIP Lou

Really need to go out and have a pint and raise a glass to Lou and put I Love You Suzanne on the jukebox but it's sunday night and late here.Bugger. May still though
