And then Hooky woke up and realised it had all just been a terrible band.
Love the way his bass plays all by itself at the end.

Can someone send me a link or talk about the origins of the break up of NO?

Last I heard several years back was Peter Hook wanted to play more JD stuff.

Fuck me, you're quick off the mark in'cha? Yes, there are strong rumours that Hooky has left New Order. Let's hope it's all amicable and nice and not unpleasant in any way. I guess New Order could go on without him but maybe some would say it isn't the same. And yes, Hooky might be interested in doing the occasional gig of old material but it's difficult to say as he never gives interviews.
When I want to find out about things I sometimes use this large database called 'The Internet'. Some other people use it too.

Well that wasn't very nice... borderline snobby.

-NO has gone without him they toured without him, he has played solo shows, I would consider that a break up.

-Not sure If I would call the Peter Hook and the Light 30 show tour an "occasional gig"

-Some might say asking a NO question on a forum dedicated to NO might be considered -"using the internet."

I think you missed my original question or you just did not understand it.. Can you tell me the origins of the fallout between NO and Hooky?

in the late 80's i remember a shirtless chubby bernard dancing away without a worry in the world and to me it was funny. i had remembered him 3 or 4 or 5 years earlier as beautiful as a young man can be and i was sad to see he had put on a lot of weight . i had never really focused on peter hook until the i saw the videos of the montreaux shows where he has hair up and that was also funny to me . silly funny . in other words i was laughing at bernard then , not with him. and at peter ,not with him. i have since been able to tell bernard that he is a very handsome young man of 57, and since god allowed me to find him bernard has brought me more happiness than anyone in music , except danny kirwan , whom i have not met, yet.
We're like kestrels
