For a list that dives back to the 50s, 60s and 70s pretty heavily, it's awfully devoid of all this great American guitar-based albums of the 70s -- Lynyrd Skynyrd, Doobie Brothers among others. Also, no Born in the USA? Purple Rain and Thriller are way too low on this list. Way too much Bowie. Kid A is when I stopped listening to Radiohead.

Thriller producer Quincy Jones is also a big New Order fan -- got them to play his Montreaux Jazz festival etc. Funny though, Quincy Jones seems to have changed his story about signing the band. His story used to be he wanted to sign them, he was a fan. Now he says he never heard of 'em http://www.quincyjones.c...-and-qs-manchester-ties/

Pet Sounds is still #1? I know it was a big deal in the 90s and it might have been refreshing 20 years ago, but now it's just as boring as Sgt. Pepper's being #1. The same goes for Revolver.
