The best band in music followed by the best person in music, so it makes sense that the only truly interesting special guest on stage with neworder will be Bill Murray |

Will get tickets if they're reasonably priced (The Cure played a couple of years ago at the RAH and they were charging a ridiculous amount so I left well alone) - here's hoping it's a decent support act.

Think the tickets are £25 aren't they? (before booking fees) Fairly cheap for this day and age.Wouldn't mind going - it's on a Saturday night and i've never been to the Albert Hall before.Think it was the 1986 gig there Bernard mentioned liking Princess Diana or something.

If only i hadn't already booked my flight and it didn't cost 600 dollars to change to a week earlier and tickets were available in April , ,that weekend would be pure joy, and if DannyKirwan was not 35 years homeless, and still playing ,and invited , then the 3 best singers, writers, and guitarists ever would make it the most wonderful long weekend in history. .if only |

£25 tickets are probably the standing ones up in the gallery - I'd only bother with those if every other ticket has already been sold and you've got a good pair of binoculars.

As far as I can see, this has sold out - got a seat in block O, near the side of the stage - would have gone for standing but don't know how they can charge £70 for that, I thought if I'm going to pay that sort of money I might as well go for a seat. Here's hoping we don't get someone like Jake Evans as a support (don't particularly want to see The Horrors again either)

I have a couple of seated tickets I'm selling if anyone is interested: row T2, seats 57-58
As it's clearly for charidee and I'm not a tout I am selling these for face value (£110 in total or £55 each). I paid closer to £124 in total after TicketBastard's fees.
If anyone's keen, make yourself known. The tickets are in hand so I can pop them in the post pretty much whenever. PayPal preferred.

Enjoyed tonight, even though there were no surprises (no guests onstage), no surprises in the setlist either (no Lonesome Tonight, but we got both Regret and Crystal) - got an Albert Hall t-shirt, but I drew the line at the prints when I saw they wanted £140 for one.

Yeah enjoyed it too, obvious but i would've preferred they dust off an old classic instead of fucking Superheated. Academic was nice though.

Great gig, but... ah there's always a but.
Boy, the crowd was quite sedate down the front at standing until 'Pensioner Disco' bit at the end that started with Bizarre Love Triangle. Even hen, much quieter than any other N.O. gig I've seen.
Nice to see "Regret" get its first UK airing in ages - and only it's second play in a couple of years. Also for Academic and Superheated to be played. I like it when they play new stuff. Even if Superheated should never, NEVER be the last song.

It was my first time seeing New Order (although I saw Bad Lieutenant in 2009 and I've seen The Light a bunch of times) and I couldn't have asked for a better first show. I thought the new songs were fantastic, Plastic sounded incredible. I'm a huge fan of Hooky but I thought Tom Chapman was brilliant, he completely nailed all the bass parts. I agree re the crowd though but people seemed to get more into it as it went on! Off to see David Gilmour tonight! Edited by user 24 April 2016 01:20:40(UTC)

I really enjoyed it. A good night. The usual unholy amount of lager with fellow Vikings beforehand meant a wee bit of a hangover this morning. I kept thinking that the last time I saw them was in an underground car park (Manc) and now here I am watching them in the centre of the - some might say rather plush - Royal Albert Hall. Glad to hear Academic and Superheated for the first time and even though I'm not a huge fan of the latter the "it's over, it's over" refrain is a nice way to round off the gig. Ceremony was missed in the set simply because "it's Ceremony" but aside from that the band played really well and Bernard's vocals are tip top at the moment. The dance numbers from Tutti onwards had people up and out of their seats and the standing area was superb in terms of spaciousness. You could get near the front, wander off to the bar, come back with drinks and pretty much retake your old spot. If I'd been feeling more adventurous I would have ventured down the front but I forgot my camera. Some good photos doing the rounds on Facebook. The RAH is such a bloody marvellous venue to see bands in, it's got to be said. Edited by user 24 April 2016 23:55:30(UTC)

Slightly underwhelmed by it on Saturday. WFTSC should never be played because it is rubbish and although the new album is great - 7 songs from it was too much. I suppose its a forlorn hope to ever here Procession played again.
