MIF17 – extra tickets available for sold-out shows
Dear Jacob
We’re now just eight weeks away from MIF17! To mark the moment, at 1pm on Thur 4 May we’re releasing extra tickets for many Festival shows – including several that have previously sold out.
You’ll be able to buy tickets from mif.co.uk, but you’ll need to be quick – only a limited number of tickets will be available for each show. And as always, if you have any queries about your membership, please don’t hesitate to get in touch.

I emailed them early this week and got a reply saying they have started sending tickets out in batches, and will continue doing so up to two weeks before the gigs. Not got mine yet.

Venue capacity is in the 100s they only released 70 odd tix when celebration was recorded in 81 and when I phoned for late release tix mush managed to get the last tix for 15july at 1301 so not many in da house especially with 12 sythns assisting the Order
I so buzzin for this

Seems like I've been here before Thanks for the info, this sounds like it's going to be amazing. It's one of the if you got tickets it's really special, but if you have missed out its a real head fuck. Just glad for once. As lucky.

I made it!
As soon as the clock hit 12:00, the tickets were all gone in the brink of an eye. I frenetically kept refreshing MIF website, and finally, after about fifteen minutes, a ticket "surfaced" and became available. Presumably somebody had held it and then let it go.
Just one show but am well chuffed.

Has everyone received their tickets yet?
I have 2 for the 1st of July but have yet to hear anything after the initial confirmation email... which now I re-read it says tickets may take up to 5 working days to arrive by post, meaning mine appear to be overdue...

If it's any use....I've not had my tickets (for the night of the 13th) yet either. But I noticed the same "5 working days" wording on that confirmation email, and I queried the MIF box office about it a few weeks ago. It seems that this was some old standard wording that shouldn't have been on there (in fact, they hadn't realised it said that on the email). The fella said that "tickets won't start to be sent for a few weeks yet...but can confirm you'll receive your tickets well in advance of the performance " - this was back at the end of April. If they haven't arrived by the start of next week, I'll probably chase it up again with them, though. Has anyone received tickets yet? Per Bernard sumner interview with Pete Wrong capacity is 2400 so larger venue than I thought. Not sure if Bernard facts are correct here

Please if anyone has a spare ticket for 13th or 15th Jul then give me a shout. God know how I missed these gigs were on, with kids and work just can't keep up anymore! Anyhow as a few people have asked about the venue I'll comment. I went to the old Granada Studios recently to see the Hot 8 Brass band/Craig Charles, organised by my wife. I wasn't expecting to have a good time, as that is not my cup of tea but it's an excellent venue, all standing and not too packed in, unlike the Victoria Warehouse which I visited recently to see PJ Harvey and absolutely hated. The bar is pretty easy to use with lots of pre-poured beer and friendly staff. The toilets are a bit of leg down a long corridor. Edited by user 19 June 2017 12:48:39(UTC)
