New Order announce a full and final settlement with former bassist Peter Hook
WEDNESDAY, SEPTEMBER 20, 2017 AT 11:20AM
New Order announce that today, a full and final settlement has been reached in the long running disputes with their former bassist Peter Hook.
The disputes were based upon Hook's use of various New Order and Joy Division assets on merchandising and in the promotion of shows by his new band, and the amount of money he receives from the use of the name New Order by his former colleagues since 2011.
The Joy Division and New Order names mean a great deal to so many of the fans, and the band felt it important to protect the legacy.
With these issues now dealt with, Bernard, Stephen and Gillian can continue to do what they do best, make music and perform live.

New Order annonce que, aujourd'hui, un règlement complet et définitif a été atteint dans les conflits de longue date avec son ancien bassiste Peter Hook.
Les différents étaient basés sur l'utilisation par Hook de divers éléments de New Order et Joy Division sur le merchandising et dans la promotion des spectacles par son nouveau groupe et le montant d'argent qu'il reçoit de l'utilisation du nom New Order par ses anciens collègues depuis 2011.
Les noms de Joy Division et de New Order signifient beaucoup pour beaucoup de fans et le groupe a jugé important de protéger l'héritage.
Avec ces questions traitées maintenant, Bernard, Stephen et Gillian peuvent continuer à faire ce qu'ils font de mieux, à faire de la musique et de les jouer en concert.

Sur le site d'Arte il y a une video de P.Hook. Pour une fois, il ne déblatère pas trop sur Bernard.
La page s'appelle Peter Hook en basse fidélité.

En effet je n'ai pas trouvé le livre de BARNEY en français, je l'ai en VO mais je n'ai pas eu le courage de le commencer.....
