12th and 13th May: Wiener FestwochenI'm going to see the Jesus and Mary Chain in Lille at the beginning of June, so will be giving this and the Turin show (is that still going ahead?) a miss, but good luck to those of you who decide to go for this.

Enjoy the Mary Chain along with new order they are the most important band to me. Dark lands and Technique must be my most played albums ever. Also the most I have ever looked forward to an album release is those 2 albums.
Both bands have come back after a long lay off with excellent albums of MC and damage and joy.
I caught the Mary chain live twice last year, really on top form at the moment. Their psycho candy gigs from a few years ago were one of the finest I have attended and NO matched that last year with their Granada studios. Lots of parallels in my life from these two bands..
