Synths were up in the mix and sounded superb. A few tracks differed a bit from when I heard them in Hollywood last year. There were some changes to the accompanying videos as well. Also, to the surprise of many, the festival allowed them to go over their time limit to deliver an encore of LWTUA.

I love that both Sub-Culture and Vanishing Point are getting regular airings. VP especially is one of the band’s very best songs. An absolute masterpiece.

It was an excellent but, as Bernard himself lamented, a somewhat short set. I especially liked the background projections during Singularity, apparently a documentary with footage of punks in mid eighties Berlin.
