Michael you realise at this point that Mr Keepitcoming is more pertinent and makes more sense than you do on this forum?
But good news, I found you some Spice Girls Forums: ONE, TWO, and best of all THREE.

Yeah it's quite good for what it is. But what it is isn't really what I wanted it to be. Hope that makes sense...
Avery has put the entire album up on Youtube with visuals. Which is nice.

I became aware of him around the time Immunity came out. I find it's a nice one to read the Sunday papers to. I'm not generally a fan of ambient artist albums, so I suspect he will never be a "major" name for me, as he rarely goes full kick-ass. Having said that, I caught a few minutes of him on the main stage of a festival back in 2014 I think, and he sounded pretty good on a big sound system. He also did a fantastic remix of one of the singles from Disclosure's so-so second album. One of those cases where I think, the remix was (so much) better than the original.

That remix of Disclosure is ok, I probably found that video more of interested though.

As I said in my earlier post though, his music for the film Monsters ( shit title but great film IMHO) played a massive part in that film. As I said, it wasn’t til much later that I realised Jon Hopkins had done that great atmospheric soundtrack.Probably why I liked the film so much though i didn’t realise it at the time. The music soundtracks the guy and the girl as they try to make it through the “infected zone between Mexico and the U.S. One of my favourite films of recent years though the sequel Monsters:Dark Continent was pretty forgettable.

Strange track this, heard it on the radio when driving home late one night last weekend and it caught my ears and the moment at the time. Kind of , dunno, church techno? But in a good way!

Anyone catch much of that BBC Biggest Weekend this last few days? I watched Orbital's set at the slipway at Titanic Experience on BBC4 on Friday night.Enjoyed (most of) it immensely. The older classic songs probably more so than their new stuff.Tiny Foldable Cities is a new one? Didn't do much for me but the inevitable Belfast was beautiful.Track of the night for me was however Where Is It Going? Always loved that one and of course it always revives memories of New Order gigs around 2012 as DJ TinTin would always spin it close to New Order taking to the stage. Orbital's set on Friday was lovely also as i visited that Titanic Experience in Belfast last autumn with family when we visited N.Ireland on holiday.Nice reminder of that trip.

Really wanted to post the clip of Where Is It Going? from Orbital's set on Friday but couldn't find it on YT but Belfast was great.

Caught Underworld's Saturday night set on a recording today.Just immense.Karl Hyde really knows how to whip the crowd up into an absolute frenzy.Rez/Cowgirl as always just fantastic & And I Will Kiss really gets me every time though the crowd reaction to that particular one seemed strangely muted.Thought it may have reminded of how brilliantly it was used to soundtrack that wonderful section of the London 2012 Olympics opening ceremony.Still, minor quibble. They were incredible form what i watched on tv.

Smoking on airplanes was overrated. This collab is better than Iggy's collab with NO but not as good as his collab with Death In Vegas IMHO.

Presumably you're listening to the original (Pete Tong) Essential Mix radio broadcast rather then the album release of the same music due on the 22nd of June. I don't think that version has leaked.
The radio version is streamable and downloadable HERE if anyone is interested.

Hi. I'm Michael and the first letter of my name is M, like Mels B and C. Also the last letter of Victoria's surname is M, there are two Ms in Emma, and Geri has no M. So this is official. The Spice Girls will reform, but there are no plans for a Spice Girls reunion. Look forward to gigs but no concerts, an LP but not necessarily an album, and TV appearances but no shows on the telly. Can't wait!

Apparently the most popular song with women is 'Girls Just Wanna Have Fun' by Cyndy Lauper. Isn't that hilarious? Imagine if a guy said that: 'Oh women? They just wanna have fun dun't they. Stoopid sending 'em to school or giving 'em career opps cos that ain't what they want. Girls ain't deep like me or David Beckham or Justin Bieber: glass of bubbly, lengtha dick, they're all right.' You'd be castrating the sexist wanker with rusty garden shears... My favourite line is, 'Some guys take a beautiful girl and hide her away from the rest of the world.' You're so right Cyndy, the number of times I've done that. Every night my wife comes home from work (not that she should be working in your little world), looks in the fridge and goes, 'Not again. What're you like, eh? I'm gonna call you Mr Stalker and Kidnapper, you silly little arse.'

Linus ,your Norwegian selection was fine, and the middle was best.
When I lived in Norway ,or narwalway -as in Beowulf -- I heard many musical wonders including Bel Canto/Anneli Drecker and Kari Bremnes
To all ,
Ok, I may post a song someday ,but here is a pretty one of many versions to look up until i learn how

Working my way through the mammoth Monstrous Psychedelic Bubble Exploding In Your Mind compilation/mix series by Amorphous Androgynous ( one of Gary Cobain and Brian Dougans aliases though of course they best known for the stuff as Future Sound Of London who i used to be big into back in the 90s and who are still releasing loads of stuff these days too).Have vol 1, vol 2, vol 3 and also the Wizards Of Oz one though i think there's more volumes in the series. Each one is 2 CDs worth .All that late 60s and early 70s Psychedelia and also some more recent, one track for example from David Holmes ('What R We Stealing') .Think one of these compilations won an award a few years back for best compilation, Mojo awards or something.

Such song titles as The Minotaur, Madman Running Through The Fields, Ballad Of The Hip Death Goddess, Killing Of The Witch and also interesting covers of the likes of Wichita Lineman, Here Comes The Sun, I Am The Walrus among others.

Vol 1 - Cosmic Space Music

Vol2 - Pagan Love Vibrations
