Respect to the NOOLer connection who broke the timing of these gigs five months back!
Interesting venue pick for Melbourne, hope the weather holds out.

Front stalls at Melbourne sold out at at least 60 miles an hour. Anyone get lucky?
Wonder if we'll get any more AU shows. Still some space in their schedule.

I can't believe I didn't find out about this earlier. Just got an email 10 minutes ago. For Melbourne all of the tickets are essentially sold out. I'll have to get the furthest, worst view. Oh well, I'm really glad they're coming back to Australia. It's amazing they're playing live with Cut Copy! I love Cut Copy. If you haven't heard of them I'd suggest checking them out. Edit: I found out there was a presale a few days ago. That would help to explain why the tickets have been all sold. How good is this artwork though? Edited by user 16 October 2019 03:27:16(UTC)

I've nabbed standing terrace tickets for Melbourne...never had a sniff at the front section tix in the pre or public sale. Hate sitting at any gig let alone NO. Would have opted for Sydney which is all GA but Melbs has Cut Copy - whoo hoo!

Standing tickets here too - I'm taking my son this time, so it'll be an inter-generational NO thing, kinda cool. And yes, the very early hot tipoff was greatly appreciated - the man is well connected, it seems.

I buckled in the end. Doing both shows.
Managed to get nearish the front in Melbourne but the front stalls were nigh on impossible for both pre-sale and public.
Sidney Music Bowl, eh. At this rate we should see them play a stripped down set on the lawn at a Yarra winery in 2025 and it’ll spell doom for us all ;)

The Miami set lists bode well for SYD / MEL.
Roll call if you're going to either. SYD yes for me.

Although I’m always glad when the band reintroduce a song not played in a while, Krafty is one of my least favourite NO tracks.
Still, variation is good.
Also, great that Ultraviolence, Disorder and Sub-Culture are still getting an airing.

He sang the first verse in Japanese again. I’m not a huge fan of Krafty, mainly due to the lyrics. But it worked well last night and freshened things up a bit.

Definite highlights were AOC, UltraV, KW1, TPK and 'all the hits' Great Bernard moment, other than his Krafty intro, was (I think after UltraV - please confirm) "...that's enough Bernard Hendrix for now'... ...together with Phil's excellent Hendrix thrash (again I think at the end of TPK - please confirm). Pre-gig beers + euphoria means the details are fuzzy... Great night, and thanks to Andy R for taking time out on Tuesday for a beer. It's clear that the decision to come to Oz, particularly after cancelling JPN, was being weighted up right up to the last moment. D Edited by user 12 March 2020 19:43:27(UTC)
