Interesting piece on the guy many people hadn't heard of until Peter Kay played him in 24HPP. https://ayewellhmm.wordp...-don-the-real-don-tonay/It also led me to Lyndsay Reades book 'Mr Manchester And The Factory Girl' which is, yes, yet another look at what by now is pretty well documented but if you're still interested after so many biographies it is worth a look.
