Hey,
what has the average NO setlist been in their recent tours? Heard its been quite repetitive but can't find a list anywhere. Taking the wife, and while she was a fan when we first met, she has moved on to crap pop music. Want to put a playlist together for her, so she can listen to it before the LA concert.

Thanks.

Huh.... I thought there were more singles in the setlists... Thought at least Temptation, 1963, BLT, True Faith would be on there as well... didn't think Mr Disco was on there, thought I heard people wishing it was being played...

spent 3 hours driving yesterday and listened to GMEX -19-7-1986 twice. 5 songs from that one are being played this year. or, 1/3 of the current set. No Blue Monday at that gig.

In Denver I will be glad to hear them. Be great if they brought out some dusty old ones. But I just really wanna be there and hear the classics and a few "fucks" and a "cunt" or two. Simple request really.

http://setlist.fm is the best these days to see what they are playing. Expect 1 or 2 song difference for the North American tour. I suspect Here to stay and Isolation to leave the set. Shame cause I want hear Here to stay in Toronto. I'm guessing confusion and Thieves like us to be added. Round and Round and Here to stay are on my wishlist.

Through hell or high water (no pun intended) I'm making it to Dallas -- driving from Atlanta. I don't care what the setlist is. 1st time seeing them, since they don't know Atlanta exists. Or/rather, that in the past 10 yrs they seem to only acknowledge 4-5 cities in the USA.

The US is such a big place- it's unreasonable to expect artists to tour places besides a few major cities. And wouldn't it take long to go from coast to coast, city to city there?

Maybe they just don't remember Atlanta exists. They've played there 4 times over the years.

I've been to Atlanta and the only things I remember are the Hooters girls (scary) and the 70 storey hotel (cool, exterior elevators).

If you count Miami this year, they do cover all major points in the USA. All cities should be under a 6 hour drive. Vegas, Phoenix, Washington and St Louis would have helped. As for Canada. Toronto just does not cover it. They needed a date in Vancouver. Some would say Montreal, but Montreal is about 5-6 hours away from Toronto.

And I'm sure they would have played in Atlanta, but no promoter was interested.

They were only a support band in Italy.

Setlist.fm also does an 'average' setlist for the year too.

Why would you think they'd drop HTS and Isolation and bring in Confusion and Thieves?

Personally, I'd kill to hear Confusion again. Nod

HTS and Isolation are part of the rotating songs. Confusion and Thieves were rehursed and not really played. I just figured it was time to bring them out. But I wouldn't be suprised to see Isolation replaced by another JD song. I'm betting She's lost control. I'm pretty sure they wont play the same set as the Asian tour.

Re: Atlanta-- if I was designing a US tour, I'd pick Atlanta as a southern tour stop over Dallas. Dallas is a southern city, but it's so far west. Atlanta is a huge and pretty cosmopolitan city now, especially after the Olympics came through, and it's centrally located, and its airport is the hub for a major airline, so a nonstop flight is easy to get there from pretty much anywhere in the eastern U.S.

(I wonder what the venues there are like though. I'm sure that's a factor.)

Do they actually pick venues or do venues pick them? They didn't pick the European dates, they played where they were invited.
