I'm pretty sure that gig was where Bernard got the 'Your country is a wonderful place...' etc. used in the studio version, via the usual stream of consciousness that he used in those days. Switzerland is pretty expensive, as we know and he actually uses the country name is this live version.
I guess he liked the sentiment and decided to keep them in the studio version.
Luckily he didn't keep the other words, which describe everyone living in the country as... well, a very rude word.
