Cool stuff. Thanks for the heads up.
A magnificent one-two electronic punch.

Well this thread inspired me to dig out and play Procession , my 7" copy ( red cover). Those synth keys on the intro and outro always had something magnificent about them, like the optimistic birth and hope of.... dunno, something.A sense of a great future that might lie ahead amongst the doom ridden teenage years in Thatcher's 80s Britain when the threat of a nuclear mushroom cloud appearing on the horizon seemed like a matter of when, not if.Thank god that's all long now....oh, wait..
Great, urgent drumming by Steve and always loved Bernard's lyrics "Life is strange, and life keeps getting stranger every day" and all that.

Great, urgent drumming by Steve and always loved Bernard's lyrics "Life is strange, and life keeps getting stranger every day" and all that. I always understood that Steve was primarily responsible for those lyrics. Seem to recall an anecdote (possibly related to compiling the Movement boxset tracklisting) where Bernard didn't remember the song and actually said something to the effect of "That's not us".

There’s also a rehearsal, with Steve singing it (pretty awful, it has to be said):
