Very nice interview to Brazil. He mentions the remastering of the State/Shame Of The Nation 12" to go with the forthcoming Brotherhood box set https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kEQlVVkgcLcI'll be attending the gig tomorrow.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zRK0AlxQOF0The show was very nice as usual, strong emotional performance from both the band and the man. WDYWFM was a lovely bonus, and the crowd went berserk about it. It was a huge hit here back in 1997, and everybody thought it was a New Order release at the time. Haven't met the Boss himself but managed to get a lot of records signed, thanks to their sound man Steve Jones, who was extermely kind for taking the stuff for the band to sign and bringing it back. A very heavy bag. He came to the extent of coming outside to meet us because the security staff confiscated my Low-Life book from the box set and retrieved it for me. Top bloke Finally got my BLT CD single signed by all four. I'm still in São Paulo but will be back on saturday and maybe post more photos. I live in a town 2,000 kilometers away. Very nice indeed!
Remind me, what's that yellow record bottom right with the PC&L colour-code on it, please?

Is that right, that NO didn't play Age Of Consent for 25 years??

Yeah - 22 years is about right, I think.
23/06/89 Denver > 17/10/11 Brussels
So, the last time that classic opening riff was played by Hooky, whilst in New Order, was 35 years ago! Crikey! Would be good to see/hear him do it again.
Maybe, one day, eh?
