Great gig. Kw1 and Atmosphere were immense. Massive crowd all well up for it.
Festival was pretty chaotic. Riot cops lined up at the entrances, more bootleg thirty stalls than I've ever seen and one beer seller per person. God knows how they move around. Standing jammed near the front unable to scratch your arse and a man with a tray of lager strolls past. Amazing. |

Hey guys, just wondering for the ones who actually went to Corona Festival. Does anyone know some info about the authors/directors/photographers of the takes showed as visuals during some part of the show, like when started Your Silent Face, it was all about this areal takes of NY, countryside, and some guys surfing on sea, randomnly, look alike a end 70s, pre 80s footage, or maybe even 90s but wasn't sure.. Maybe Qooyanistaqatsi Film ??? or inspired off?? Thanks fans/ guys! kk.

Thanks fans/ guys! kk. didn't go the gigs in question, but the footage you describe is from an upcoming documentary called The Earth Wins, shot entirely from helicopter. The full-length film will have NO on the soundtrack, according to the website at The Earth Wins

Massive crowd came to this. Struggling to think of a larger New Order crowd. And it was for them, no one was playing afterwards & all the crowd around us we're chanting for NO before they came on and sung through practically every song.
The promoter told the band there were 62,000 fans at the festival and I suspect 50,000 of them were watching NO. To say it was mobbed would not be doing it justice. We got there over 30 mins before they came on & got nowhere near the stage. Just incredible levels of interest.
NO played 10 mins overtime but the fans were so into it I suspect they just got wrapped up in it and wanted to thank the audience.
