Apologies if anyone has already posted this, but I've just noticed a good Tom Middleton remix of Orbital's New France: Orbital on SoundCloudThey've also recorded an interesting film score, of which the title track is first online at the above SoundCloud link. |

Yep just seen this film. Not bad for a low(ish) budget Brit Flick, though i wasn't crazy about the ending. There's about 20 tracks by Orbital running throughout the film ,not all of which would be considered proper tunes as such; a lot of it is mood-setting stuff. The trailer is here.. There's some other tracks that feature in night club scenes in the film such as Austra's Beat And The Pulse (still going mix) and Modestep's Sunlight,. The latter isn't a great song, but the dubsteppy bits sound immense blasting out of cinema (or nightclub) speakers.
I had this idea in the early 90's when rave/house music was really making an impact, that someone should make a crime thriller set in London with an underground dance soundtrack and lots of night club scenes in it. Tracks like Secret Knowledge's Sugar Daddy and Leftfield's Song Of Life. I think the nearest we got to that at the time was Shopping which did at least have Sabres of Paradise and One Dove (oh, and Orbital) on the soundtrack. But now nearly 20 years later someone has released a film that isn't too far away from what i was looking for at the time.Edited by user 17 October 2012 13:47:21(UTC)

Blondie's Greatest Hits. Blondie was one of the first 80s acts I got into, along with Madonna, 4 years ago when I dowloaded their biggest hits and both Paralell Lines and Eat To The Beat and, later, the rest of their singles. But everytime I'd see a copy of Greatest Hits on the record shop I used to feel tempted to buy it. So, last March I decided to spend part of my savings and buy it. I listened to it a few times when I had just bought it but then I kind of shelved it until a few days ago and I can say that I have come to really apreciate it now. Now I have realized that it's one of the best greatest hits albums I have ever heard as it's musically varied and I like variety. It's a must have album for every fan of good pop music.

James Bond themes mini mix by A- Skills and Krafty Kuts Not really that interested in Bond films these days, kinda tired of them, same old story every time despite the producers' claims that the latest Bond film is the best ever, they always say that zzzzzz... Bond films have never been the same since Roger Moore knocked it on the head, RIP the great Bond films of the 60s and 70s "Do you expect me to talk? " "Noo!!! Mr Bond!, i expect you to die!!!" Delighted there's no fucking Adele in this mix

Why waste such creative visual talent on such awful music? The pursuit of material gain at all costs. It must stop. |

Madonna's self-titled firt album, which I bought 4 days ago. I already had the songs on mp3,which I downloaded ilegally about 3 years ago but I wanted a better sound quality so I went to shopping centre with all my savings and bought the original album (It was a bargain as it cost me only 8 dollars). It's a great dance-pop album. It's dancier than any of the albums she released later in the 80s. All the songs are catchy and memorable but my favourite one is Borderline (my least favourite one is I Know It but it's not bad by any means; is quite good, actually). One thing I like about the album is how it combines the synths with other instruments such as guitars and piano. I also love the female backing vocals, which are classy and soulful. It's one of my favourite Madonna albums (second only to True Blue) and I highly recommend it.

And I'm not even a geek....just an ordinary girl who loves music. dunno i just copy and paste the address bar at the top of the YouTube page of the video i want to post on here. Always done it that way, never copied the actual embed code below the video. Don't quite know why the YouTube address that shows up where you've quoted me appears to be from the embed option because i never do it that way. And that Lana Del Rey video that comes up where my post is quoted isn't the video i actually originally posted. I posted the 10 minute video to Ride not a 4.50 of just audio of the song. Let's see if this one works... copied address from address bar at the top of the YouTube page where this video is.Thanks Anyway, i'm off out to the pub Lana Del Rey - Blue Jeans
