Az and me stumbled /fell/ gatecrashed/ forced our way into/ was forced (can't remember which) in to a wedding reception/ birthday party/ Christmas party/ Barmitzvah/Hanukka celebration (can't remember which) last night where everyone was dressed as Spiderman/ Batman/ Iron Man/SuperGirl/ Superman/Captain America (can't remember which) just as the cake was presented on stage to the happy couple/ birthday girl/ birthday boy/ gay couple/ employee of the year/ salesman/ saleswoman of the year (can't remember which) and this was playing. It sounded brilliant.

Love it and funnily enough the bloke who used to run the newsagents near us when we were kids we called PRONCE. Not sure why, think his name may have been Prance. Is Prance a name ? Must have been, think that was his actual Christian name , not his surname.

Ah yes that Purple Rain night , later on that evening we Rocked Up as Americans would say at a local nightspot and just as the party was peaking the DJ. dropped as hipsters might say that A Trak remix of Heads Will Roll by Yeah Yeah Yeahs. This was a great and lovely surprise. I think I may have even hit the dancefloor amongst the pandemonium that erupted in the club at the airing of this monster of a tune

ah i've just worked out the DJ probably played that track because it's featured in a movie called Project X which the kids probably love, so the DJ wasn't actually trying to introduce some new music to the kids. Whatever
