Heard it was a right balls up. People getting tickets by simply actually going to the Tate and purchasing . How many does that Turbine Hall hold anyway? It would actually be quite good for gigs as it's on a slope ( I'm guessing that's the Turbine Hall , the big hall at the Tate) You wouldn't have to stand on the tips of yer toes so much

Went to Orbital at Brixton on Friday night. Great tunes, great visuals but it would be nice if the Hartnoll brothers would actually play (some of) their keyboards (I'm aware it would be impossible to play it all by hand). I know there are arguments that it's an art to get all their machinery working in sync, and I'm sure they put a lot of preparation work into their shows. But judging by the amount of time P&P have one finger or both hands in the air during their gigs, they don't seem to be working too hard during the show. I like a band that looks like it's working hard on stage.

I've seen KW a couple of times (three if you count the time I left after the second song) and reckon they play a lot of it live; certainly more than any other electronic act I've seen who seem to rely on tapes for most of the sound to leave the artists themselves free to point in the air and bang on flight cases. mlkshk.com/r/MCK2Edited by user 17 December 2012 07:14:18(UTC)

Managed to get lucky with a spare from some kind individual who I've never met before.
The Mix.
Got a written response today, from Tate Members, to my complaint. Not much they could say really other than put their hands up. They phoned me yesterday, just to say sorry for taking a while to answer but they'd had so many complaints to get through. Not a surprise really.
