The stapled 12x12 multipage insert is like something I could have photocopied at work. You can tell it is toner and not real ink, and printed on garbage paper instead of glossy stock.
The RPM are wrong on most of the records.
The entire thing is pathetic. Made more pathetic because it COULD have been so amazing. The colored vinyl and design are fantastic. But the final execution was clearly designed to cut corners...
I would get a refund if I could.
All the adulation for this is pretty surprising to me. No objectivity from most of you.
while you are right about some points.
$100 is a steal for this... compared to what other bands would charge,
i have a friend in the music industry, and he was surprised when he heard how much these are going for.
yes, they could have better build quality, and control.
however, the music is the main thing, so unless you bought it for art,
you wouldn't really care.
i've opened mine up, played the tracks, recorded them, looked at the records,
and now they are going back into the box, probably forever.
which is what most people will do.
so in that case, why did you buy it?
