Having had a proper good listen to this now, I have to say that it’s a blistering set. The new stuff in particular sounds amazing with some live energy behind it. Not that the album versions are bad, just that the live versions are better

Was loving Toms basswork on live restless, taking the lead geetar part and turning it into a proper bass part on the outro of the tune... well done chappy lad! The live version for me would've done with that final verse after the lush strings just to build it up, but the change in pace with the bassline sounds sweet. Wondering the reason for Tom's mic... did he add any vocals? was it to replicate the "here we go's!!!" of yonder yore?

He's not had much to say since the release of Music Complete. I imagine his shows will continue to go down well. Hopefully he will focus on those and drop his losing battle.

Everytime I heard male backing vocals, Tom was singing into the mic. (I think he did some of that live in Bad Lieu as well). Sounds like that's in his CV now as well. Maida Vale was ACE.

Loved the footage of the bloke in the shirt, in the middle of the largely static crowd bouncing away - go on son. Sounded tight as hell and great taster for the upcoming gigs. Hope La Roux joins the UK dates at least. Recent tweet pic from Gillian of rehearsal tunes cheekily hid most of possible setlist... what a tease! Wot else on that list i wonder!! Was delighted to see RUN on there, only on closer inspection to see it was RUN.... Wild. ummm not so delighted.

Yeah, he had fun! I'm in the stripy shirt and shaved head just to left of him between Phil and Bernard.

Dawn's voice is worlds apart. Regarding the rehearsal list: Pe = The Perfect Kiss or People on the High Line? Price = World Regret Round & Round Run Wild Shadowplay Singularity Waiting For the Sirens' Call Stay W = I'll Stay with You? Touched by the Hand of God Temptation Thieves Like Us Transmission True Faith [no Tutti Frutti listed!] ...and of course, notes for Restless on top. That's quite a few tracks considering only a portion of the alphabet is revealed. Great news!

Im pretty sure that this isnt a set list. it looks like a list of what functions to press on the synths to get the sounds for various songs and yes its only 5 letters of the alphabet, so basically most New order songs between P and T

Assuming a list of rehearsal tracks for the upcoming gigs, in alphabetical order. Strange that Singularity is listed but no Restless, Plastic, High Line, Tutti Frutti?? Reckon Run Wild and TBTHOG are only new additions since their previous stint of gigs? They did TLU in berlin right? No Vanishing Point or Sunrise then.... but maybe a Dream Attack, EGG, Mr Disco hidden away further up the page... all conjecture i know!! And wheres Unlearn This Hatred

And wheres Unlearn This Hatred I reckon that's a list of current tracks played live, ie. 2011-2014, before they started work adding new stuff and maybe older 'new' additions.

They played Run Wild in Vancouver Canada. I think the only time with GG. I thought GG said Barney couldn't sing TLU anymore. They did try it and never made the cut.

I wrote 1,192 words about seeing them at Maida Vale. I would've written it sooner, but saw 9 bands in the past 9 days. http://www.thefinalword....uk/content/view/1332/35/

She's a miserable looking bugger her from La Roux, isn't she? You're singing a song called Tutti Frutti, not informing a relative of a death. Edited by user 20 October 2015 00:14:57(UTC)

First 7 seconds of intro to Restless live is very similar to first 7 seconds intro to Strange Little Girl by The Stranglers

Mike Hi Mike, I didn't have to show Photo ID, but it was a worry. (You're right) Lauren Laverne (You're right, I forgot) Did I have to mention U2? Well, no, but I did anyway. You probably did meet me at Hyde Park, (10 years ago!) - though I have little recollection of that gig now, as I had a two month old and was in the 'not-sleepng-up-all-night-crying-baby' phase of my life. You might have met at Ally Pally in 98 as well? If you're coming to Brixton, you can have another chance! Mark
