Saw this interview with Tom as I rode the subway to work this morning. Nice to know that progress is being made on the new record and that they will be back in the States in July.
I'm looking forward to the Tibet House Benefit on Tuesday. Interested to see what everyone is going to be playing, what collaborations will be done, ect.

Finally! "Some of the songs" are from Chemical Tom Rowland. Wonder who else...? |

OK, speculation: Jacques Lu Cont -- Bernard has been quite complimentary of him and was going to do the 2nd bad leftenant album, no?

I am quite happy Tom from the Chems is involved. Give me another track or two like Here to Stay, which I thought was absolutely brilliant live, and I would be very happy. Otherwise I would agree with the earlier statement, would not be surprised if Stuart were involved on a track or two. At this stage of the game for Bernard, Steve and Gillian, I would not be so worried about working with just one producer. Do whatever you want with whoever you want. In this modern age where the album appears to mean less and less to the general public, working with varied producers who may tap into the deep reservoir of talent this band has is my preference. And final one, would love for them work or do a track with Anthony from M83.

Is this not standard internet parlance then? I guess not, it's probably just particular to another forum I inhabit. 'Iceberg' is a Titanic reference. When someone says something that everyone else already knows it's an 'iceberg!' (as in 'The Titanic has sunk').

Yes, after that stunning EP last year it's all systems go. I just hope they can keep up the standard - 10 years for Working Overtime, Shake It Up, Jetstream... Can we hope for a Blue Monday remix by One Direction, or is that asking for too much? PS One Direction's last LP is like anal sex. It's fucking shit.
