http://www.maxtv.com.au/...nterview-peter-hook.aspx Interview to promote upcoming tour. Also... in case you missed it, CD's of the three Hebden Bridge shows are now available : http://www.peterhook.co....esidency-on-3-double-cdsThe best value of the lot is the Bundle which has all three shows, plus a truncated version of the Goodwood 2010 show with Orchestra and a signed (short) essay by Hook. http://abbeyroadlive.san...5722&ViewTourID=5724I got these the other day, and they sound very good. Obviously, the vocals aren't spot on, but there's something like 77 different songs across the package. It's good to have recordings that aren't taken from mobile phone footage off YouTube. You can hear stuff that isn't immediately apparent at the shows either. Worth listening to. Edited by user 10 January 2015 09:54:59(UTC)

Thanks for the link to that interview, but sadly it looks like Hooky has become the Roger Waters of New Order & the rift between him and the others isn't going to be resolved very soon, if ever at this rate! Oh well...
Still, he seems to be happy touring the albums with The Light & the next 2 to do will be "Technique" & "Republic", but he seems to not favour the latter that much, aside from "Regret", so will he do the full album or just selected tracks?
It's a shame as I quite like the "Republic" album & would like to see/hear it performed 'live', especially with the other songs from the era, such as the b-sides; Best And Marsh, Don't Do It & M.T.O, plus other related tracks, such as "The Happy One" & of course, "World In Motion".

There's lots of interviews he's done recently, and he does seem quite annoyed at certain things. From an outsiders perspective some of the stuff he says doesn't seem factually correct. Still, I suppose there's a question of legality. Since NO didn't split as such - more took a hiatus as Gillian had cancer, Hook left and I don't recall anyone else in the band saying New Order were no more. I guess then, it's up to a court to call if N.Order had split, or Hook had left an ongoing business. Complex! It's a corporate divorce now. Cut the kids in half. Cut the dog in half. Or quarters, to be more accurate. According to interviews below, the next tour will be "Substance + Technique". Not sure why he rags on "Republic" so much, it may be longer than any other N.Order LP, but it has a certain, resigned charm the band never captured at any other time. Additionally, The Light do have "World In Motion" occasionally in their setlists : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8EJAsJQvAUI Other interviews : http://www.glamadelaide....otherhood-and-the-light/http://themusic.com.au/i...-hook-bryget-chrisfield/http://controlzine.com/i...views/peter-hook-part-i/ and http://controlzine.com/i...iews/peter-hook-part-ii/
