Would have thought he's already played the Substance tracks on earlier outings.

Maybe someone's dying to hear his take on Dubvulture.

I think there's a few main non-album tracks he hasn't done yet, like 1963, Hurt and Murder. Honestly, this wouldn't be too bad of a gig to see. I'm personally not a big fan of album tours, but both JD/NO Substance albums will work as a good mixture of material. Hopefully he chooses to rearrange the songs up a bit and not just play them all in order like they are on the albums. The problem I had when I saw him perform Movement & PC&L was that it wasn't very exciting since you could predict which song would be next.

They played Murder when I saw them in San Francisco last year. Probably played Hurt at your show. I don't think 1963 has been in their set yet.

The Movement/PC&L gig I saw was actually in Seattle. I think it was part of some ongoing music festival, can't recall the name of it though. I remember Moby came out during the encore and sang on a few songs. Hooky bashing aside, it actually was a good show. I was visiting Seattle on vacation and wasn't even aware he was performing. I just saw it listed in a newspaper and remember having a hard time convincing my girlfriend into going. "So its the bass player of a band you like, but not the actual band? What's the point?" Eventually I wore her down and got to go, haha.

Well, if I manage to catch him on this tour, I'll make sure to shout for "Kiss the Chrome" as he comes out for an encore.

Hooky's bass was a great part of New Order sound. Don't underrate that, please!

You can recognize a New Order song through his bass melodies!
