New documentary about the Hacienda, screenings next month at the Curzon in Soho with Ben Kelly and Dave Haslam, and in Knutsford with Peter Hook and Clint Boon: Curzon Cinemas

Not sure if this is going to get a widespread release or is going to go straight to dvd/online.

It's been around for a while now. I started a thread on this back in May/June 2015. I'm guessing it may eventually end up on Amazon Prime or itunes/Apple Music like 808 The Movie.

Hmm, wonder why it took 2 years to be released, unless the producers/distributors went bust, I will probably keep an eye out to see how much it is to watch online, doubt it's the sort of thing I'd want to watch more than once.

Hi, I can answer some questions about the film.

It took 2 years to be released as we couldn't get a distributor, so had to contact each cinema we have showed at, myself. Hard work I can tell you.

We are giving all profits to kidneys for life and cancer research and so maybe distributors didn't see money to be made.

After the showing on weds that will be it unless Tv pick it up, believe me I've been trying on that front.

Some people have been to see it 3 or 4 times:)

Cheers
Chris
