Cheers for that, I saw the link on my Facebook feed while I was down the pub this lunchtime but could see no trace of it when I got back. I will probably order it, but last time I used pledgemusic it took forever for the goods to turn up (a signed Miss Kittin cd, it was probably the best part of a year before it turned up), so I will wait to closer to the release date on the website before parting with any money. Says it was the second of the two nights at Brixton that the set is from, but they were identical setlists barring Age Of Consent being swapped for Crystal on the second night So the tracklist *should* be - Singularity
Ceremony Crystal 5 8 6 Restless Lonesome Tonight Your Silent Face Tutti Frutti People on the High Line Bizarre Love Triangle Waiting for the Sirens' Call Plastic The Perfect Kiss True Faith Temptation
Encore: - Atmosphere
Love Will Tear Us Apart Blue Monday
I hope they include it all and don't go messing about missing tracks out

My only experience with PledgeMusic was for the last Ian McCulloch solo album, Pro Patria Mori. The LP was released well after the proposed date and is easily the worst he's put his name to. The only good thing about the PledgeMusic project was the live disc released during the LP's delay.

I've had a bit of a mixed experience with PledgeMusic. Sometime good, sometimes bad. The Peter Hook stuff was fine (but that was probably because I bought them after that the targets were met). The Killing Joke symphonic one I've had on order (and paid for) since April is slowly turning into a joke (pardon the pun). It's now not even scheduled to be recorded until later this year (was meant to have shipped last Autumn). I think with these things it's sometimes best to see if the target gets met and then cough up the money after. Although, I guess, if everyone did that, these things would never get made. Also, you can sometimes miss out on things if you delay. I would imagine that this particular project is fairly safe, seen as if the gig has actually been recorded. They've only got to burn the discs (and vinyl), package them and ship. However, don't blame me if it all goes belly up. 😉 Edited by user 13 March 2017 09:34:09(UTC)

Well I have bought everything else by new order so I will buy this. It's a strange one though as I thought the recently announced gigs with 12 tracks reimagined with a 12 piece synth orchestra would have lent itself as a far more exciting release. But this will probably still be released ax well.

Pre-ordered the digital version. POTHL sounds very similar to the studio release, a bit restrained sort-of, was expecting more groove.

Ooh I was at that one , the 2nd Brixton night Nov 2015 but I'm not too fussed about another live album. I'd rather they released one later this year of the upcoming Granada gigs with rearranged songs etc

I was sure I saw the listing as the 1st night which would have been cool as I was there. But will purchase anyway. I would of thought they may have released some of the Sydney Gigs with the orchestra behind them. I wonder if will we have any chance of a live DVD release?

You'dve thought if they were going to release another live album they would have chosen one of the Sydney shows as they were a bit different with the orchestra etc and quite a unique venue for New Order. Much as I love Brixton academy I'd have been more interested in a live release of Sydney . Maybe they'll release a DVD of that instead. Or maybe one of the Granada shows. Dunno, just seems a bit of a missed opportunity to make the next live release a run of the mill show at Brixton rather than Sydney or Granada .

So how do you get the free song? I preordered and just got a receipt.
I would have preferred a newer show with Academic and Superheated and just Barney on vocals for tutti frutti and high line. But we do get a soundboard recording for Lonesome, and the new versions of BLT and Sirens. So I do get something out of this cd.
I'm guessing the reason for the cd is to help pay for the court fees?

Pre-ordered the 'mega' bundle for the hell of it. As someone else mentioned I'm looking forward to having proper soundboards of the new BLT/WFTSC versions plus Lonesome. In particular, WFTSC being "Planet Funkified" was a pleasant surprise during the last round of gigs and worked well. Singularity also sounds pretty killer live. I have a ropey recording of last year's Glastonbury BBC stream with those tracks included but the quality's shite.
I actually thought the freebie POTHL download was simply the studio version rather than the live version from the gig. My mistake, caught up and downloaded that last night. Straight away the sound quality seems miles better than the Troxy CDs which - while a superb gig - always sounded a little muddy and the drums a bit far off in the distance.
Neither Mute nor Saville appear to be involved in this latest New Order release, it seems?

I remember listening to Temptation from the Troxy CD and towards the last third of the song when there's a lot going on musically the sound just turned to shit, a muddy mess like the mix couldn't handle it all.Awful. I obtained BLT and WFTSC at Glastonbury 2016 from a certain file sharing thing a while back. The whole BBC audio was on there but i just wanted BLT and WFTSC in particular.Pretty good quality, at least to my ears anyhow.

I'm not a great fan of live albums. New Order usually sound shaky on live recordings, which is actually preferential to groups who sound just like the record but with an audience... Edited by user 06 April 2017 21:32:18(UTC)

The two last live albums were OK, miles better than the Glastonbury CD that came out ages ago. I'm going wait until someone on here says they have received the CD before even thinking of placing an order.

Has anyone actually ordered this? Normally I'd buy the vinyl without hesitation, but I'm struggling with thus one. I think its a combination of 1)at least half the songs being on the 2 previous live cds and 2) the thought of turning it over every 15 mins.. Ive got the Music Complete lp box set and all the 12" singles from it. Is there a limit to how many times I can buy the same thing? If so, I think im approaching it..... Anyway, it's out in 2 weeks I believe..... Will likely place my order this week :-) Edited by user 15 May 2017 10:40:33(UTC)

Been delayed a month to 16th June now according to an email I got last week.
No surprise really - I don't think I've partaken in a single pledgemusic release that hasn't been delayed. A month is not bad

Wow he gave it 4/10 which is not a good review at all, the free song that I got People On the High Line sounded very good live from NOMC15 |

Got a digital copy of NOMC15 on Friday as part of the pre-order and must say this could be the best sounding live album they've put out to date. The instrumentation is clear, pristinely mixed and a couple of the tracks start off so well they could be mistaken for session versions. Chuffed to finally have a near-definitive recording of the Planet Funk WFTSC version and Lonesome Tonight. I can also add this as yet another live album of a show I've been to. It's definitely non-essential but sufficiently different to the Troxy and Bestival albums to justify its existence. Those albums didn't have any of the Music Complete tracks, the new WFTSC/BLT or Lonesome Tonight (or Atmosphere, come to think of it). There's also more bang for your buck as Bestival was only 13 songs whereas this is 19 (well, 18 minus Wagner). I read the Under The Radar review and reckon it's a tad harsh. It also doesn't square with my own experience of the gig itself I.e. the reviewer says Temptation sounds "wimpy" whereas I remember that track almost taking the roof off the venue on the night. Perfect Kiss sounds "robotic"? It is principally a drum machine driven track. Still, everyone's entitled to their opinion. As a lifelong fan I'd give this album about 7.5 out of 10. Fan-only territory, though. Looking forward to receiving the vinyl soon. Edited by user 28 May 2017 09:27:08(UTC)

Don't believe everything you read - make your own mind up. Reviews are by their very nature subjective and are always one person's opinion. My blog included.
Few live recordings capture the complete experience and vibe of their particular space, and live vocal recordings will always sound more lone / central than their harmonised, reverbed, effected studio equivalents, but IMHO NOMC15 is an excellent gig capture.
Ceremony, 586, Lonesome Tonight, Your Silent Face, Siren's Call, Plastic, Temptation ... real highlights. Good dynamic range and the mix is crystal clear with good keyboard levels - much better than Troxy etc.
For me, the release is very good and very welcome.

I'm disappointed that the vinyl is delayed, but I'm more than happy with how this sounds. I was hoping it would be good, but based on how previous live material from New Order has sounded I wasn't expecting much. They've either sounded thin (at least my best description), or way too compressed, and obviously a concert broadcast on FM. Outside of live performances caught on DVD, this is the best sounding live material they've released.
