The one with the girl and the puppet. What is it from. Mitchell&Webb use a similar one for there postwar game show.

It's called the Test Card. It was displayed by the BBC in periods when there was no programme being broadcast to allow people to tune in their TVs. It was normally accompanied by some easy listening music, to check sound levels.
