The one with the girl and the puppet. What is it from. Mitchell&Webb use a similar one for there postwar game show.

Also famously seen in the brilliant "Life on Mars" with John Simm....love that show! Picked up the Complete Series when out in SF for the first show of the NA Tour.

It's called the Test Card. It was displayed by the BBC in periods when there was no programme being broadcast to allow people to tune in their TVs.
